Subnautica server hosting

The Nitrox server requires at least 4 GB RAM for small groups (up to 4 players). For larger groups (5–10 players), 8 GB RAM and a fast NVME drive are recommended to ensure smooth gameplay.

In the Startup tab, find the Server Password field, enter your password, and save the changes. After restarting the server, only users who know the password will be able to join.

Nitrox does not officially support mods, but the community is working on tools to enable customizations. Our servers offer full file access, making future modifications easier to implement.

1. Use the built-in server console to manage players.

1. Download the Nitrox launcher from the official project website.
2. Install it on the server machine.
3. Configure server settings in the config.json file located in the installation directory.
4. Run the server using the NitroxServer.exe file.
