Introduction
Our game server panel contains a number of unique features that will allow you to easily manage your server. In this guide, you will learn how to easily configure server parameters, program recurring events, and use the “Network” and “Servers” tabs.
Navigation
1. How to use Startup tab
The “Startup” tab will allow you to configure the most important server parameters without having to modify configuration files. Just enter the new server parameter here and restart the server.
Typically, you will be able to change variables such as the server name, number of slots, server access password, server admin password, steam account token, map and many others. Depending on the game, there will be other variables personalized for player usability.
Additionally, in the Startup tab you will find two additional sections: Startup Command and Docker Image (it is possible to change the image for some games, such as Minecraft).
2. How to use Network tab
The “Network” tab allows you to check the IP address and port (or ports) of your game server and, in some cases, assign a primary port (in situations where multiple ports are assigned to the server).
Here you can also copy the server address with a single click and add some notes to it.
3. How to use Schedules tab
If you want to create a new recurring event, click on “Create Schedule” button.
In the new window, enter the name schedule and define period of occurrence (for example: the screenshot event will be executed every 5 minutes). Additionally, you can select three options that will allow you to:
- show the cron cheatsheet
- execute schedule when the server is in a running state
- execute schedule automatically
Confirm your decision with the “Create Schedule” button.
Such a bar should appear after validation:
Click in the center of this bar for details.
If you want to add a new action to a recurring event, click on “New Task” button.
At the beginning, choose one of the three options (Send command/Send power action/Create backup). To delay the execution of the task, enter the number of seconds in the Time Offset field.
In the Task Payload field, enter the command to be executed during the action on the server. Approve by “Create Task'”.
Now, you should see a new task bar. You can freely edit and delete it.
If you want to delete recurring event, click “Delete”. “Run Now” is forcing the task to complete now.
4. How to use Servers tab
The “Servers” tab is a place where you will see a list of all your servers (if you rent more than one). Here, you can quickly check parameters such as the server name, server description, hostname, number of available slots, number of players on the server, uptime, server address, resource usage (CPU, RAM, Disk Space), and the server status (on the right side, you will see a green color = on, red = off, or orange = restarting/installing).
We hope that our intuitive web interface has allowed you to manage your server easily. If you want to ask us any questions, feel free to contact us via e-mail, ticket or live chat!
