Best Staff Charges and Eternal Spells in Enshrouded

Staff Charges and Eternal Spells are the ammo for staffs in Enshrouded. In practice, they are the same, but as you progress through the games, you will unlock endless ammo (Eternal Spells) that can be used without limits (Staff Charges have a limited number of uses). Creating Staff Charges and Eternal Spells will require you to bring an Alchemist to your base. When casting Staff Charges and Eternal Spells, your character will consume mana, so it is worth making sure you have enough of it before the fight. It is worth increasing the amount of total possible mana by increasing Spirit statistics. In this article we will discuss what the best versions of spells are and what you need to create them.

Differences between Staff Charges and Eternal Spells

There are quite significant differences between Staff Charges and Eternal Spells:

  • How to use: Eternal Spells can be used indefinitely, unlike charges which wear out after each use
  • Level: Eternal Spells are typically high-tier ammo, unlike Staff Charges
  • Casting Time: Eternal Spells usually take longer to cast
  • Damage: the same spells can deal completely different damage depending on whether they are eternal or not
