How to change difficulty on a Killing Floor 2 server

Header image

Killing Floor 2 is a dynamic cooperative game that offers players a wide range of challenges through different difficulty levels. These levels change various aspects such as the number of enemies, their durability, damage output, and the way they move and attack. Higher difficulty levels introduce more aggressive AI, increase the resistance of Zeds, and reduce the availability of resources such as health and ammo. In such cases, players must demonstrate better coordination and well-thought-out strategies. The available difficulty levels are “Normal,” “Hard,” “Suicidal,” and “Hell on Earth.” In this guide, we will explain how to change the difficulty level in Killing Floor 2 using our intuitive game server panel.

How to change difficulty via control panel

1. Navigate “Startup” tab in our control panel.

2. In the “SERVER DIFFICULTY” section, enter the number corresponding to the selected difficulty level:

  • 0 = Normal
  • 1 = Hard
  • 2 = Suicidal
  • 3 = Hell on Earth

3. Restart your Killing Floor 2 server.

We hope that our intuitive guide helped you configure Killing Floor 2 server. If you want to ask us any questions, feel free to contact us via e-mail, ticket or live chat!
