How to configure a Killing Floor 2 server

Killing Floor 2 is a dynamic cooperative game that’s perfect for playing with friends on your own dedicated server. As the server administrator, you have full control over the gameplay, including the ability to customize all settings to meet the needs of your players. Our intuitive control panel allows you to easily adjust variables such as password, difficulty level, game mode, WebAdmin access, automatic updates, and much more. Additionally, you’ll have access to all server files, enabling you to modify any server variables. In this guide, we’ll explain how to customize the gameplay on your Killing Floor 2 server in just a few simple steps.

Configure your server

Follow these steps to configure your server:

  1. Go to the control panel and select “Startup” tab.
  2. Edit basic parameters. You will find a description of the basic variables in the table below.
  3. If you need more advanced changes, go to the server configuration files which can be found in the “Files” tab.
  4. Restart your Killing Floor 2 server.
