DayZ allows server administrators to fully customize all settings. One way to refresh the gameplay experience is by installing maps created by the player community. Banov is one of the more interesting maps, featuring a diverse landscape, including dense forests and abandoned settlements. In this guide, we’ll explain in detail how to install the Banov map on your DayZ server.
How to install Banov map
1. Access server files and edit serverDZ.cfg.
2. Go to the end of the file and find the “template” line where you can change the mission name. In the case of the Banov map setting, it should look like this:

4. Visit GitHub: https://github.com/KubeloLive/Banov
5. Download the empty.banov folder and upload it to the mpmissions server folder via SFTP.
6. Restart DayZ server.
