How to change modpack on a Minecraft Feed the Beast server

Modpacks dedicated to Minecraft Feed The Beast servers are sets of perfectly matched modifications that offer players entirely new gaming experiences. Each modpack is created with a specific style of play in mind, allowing server administrators to choose the one that perfectly fits the server’s concept. Depending on the chosen modpack, they focus on technology, nature, magic, or even automated factories. In our intuitive game server panel, you will find a tab where you can install your chosen set of modifications with just one click. Follow the steps described below to find out how to do it!

How to change Minecraft Feed The Beast modpack

1. Access your Feed The Beast server files. Go to our game server panel and select the “Files” tab.

2. In the upper left corner of the window, select the checkbox to select all files. Then, select the “Delete” option that will appear in the floating window.

If you want to save your previous world, just archive and download your “World” directory. Deleting all files is irreversible. It’s not 100% sure that your “World” will work afterwards.

3. Go to the “Modpacks” tab to find the perfect modpack for your server. Once you find it, select the desired server version and press “Install”.

4. Go to the application where you will install the appropriate version of the modpack on your game client (this guide will be based on ATLauncher). In the application we recommend, select “Packs” on the right side of the window, then select “Feed The Beast”.

5. Once you find the modpack previously installed on your server, select the “New Instance” option.

6. Select “Install” to install the appropriate version of the modpack (the version of the modpack from the launcher must be the same as the one installed in the panel).

7. Return to the game servers panel and restart your Minecraft Feed The Beast server in the “Console” tab.
