If you’ve started your adventure in Palworld in single-player mode and now want to transfer it to a dedicated server, you’ve come to the right place! In this guide, we’ll explain how to transfer your world to a Palworld server.
Locate your local save
1. Launch Palworld game and click “Start Game“.
2. Select your current save game. In the lower right corner, click the folder icon.
3. You should be redirected to a directory where you will find all of your world files. Select them all and compress them into a .zip file.
Upload world to the server
1. Go to the control panel and stop your server.
2. Access server files and follow this path:
/home/container/Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0
In folder “0” you should see another folder that has a string of characters in its name. Go into this folder – inside you will see the files of the current save on your server.
3. Delete all files.
4. Once your folder is empty, click “Upload” and upload the .zip file.
5. Unzip the .zip file – once you have the new files, delete the .zip from the folder you are in.
6. Delete WorldOption.sav.
Leaving the WorldOption.sav file will cause your server configuration to be completely overwritten.
You files should look like this:
7. Start your server.
There is currently no way to transfer player data to the server.
