Configuration adapts server to individual needs of the owner and players. A person with access to server files can change almost all parameters, such as maximum number of players, password and many others.
If you want to configure your Holdfast: Nations at War server follow this guide:
1. Stop your server
Login to the server panel with your credentials. On the server list search for your Holdfast: Nations at War server and click on it – you should be redirected to the “Console” tab. Here you can click on the “Stop” button to stop your server.
2. Start basic configuration
Once you are in a server panel, change tab to the “Startup”. This tab contains the most important parameters of your server – you can change them without editing the configuration file. The table below shows all variables you can change in “Startup” tab.

3. Perform advanced configuration
If you are not satisfied with the server configuration performed in the “Startup” tab, nothing stops you from editing more advanced server elements. You can do this in the main configuration file of your server. First, go to the “Files” tab to access your server’s files. Follow this path to find the configuration file: /home/configs/serverconfig_default.txt
4. Restart your server
Now, it’s time to restart your server to approve all changes. come back to the “Console” tab and click on “Restart” button to restart your server.
