When configuring server it’s important to adapt it to the needs of owner and players. If you want your your server to be based on friendship and cooperation, it’s good idea to choose PvE (Player versus Environment) mode, in which your only opponents will be zombies. If you want players to compete with each other and pose an additional threat to each other, choose the PvP (Player versus Player) mode.
If you want to change combat mode from PvP (default) to PvE, follow this steps:
1. Go to server panel and navigate “Files” tab.
2. Follow this path: /home/container/Servers/Default/Server/Commands.dat
3. Enter Commands.dat file and enter this in a new line:
PvE
4. Click on “SAVE CONTENT” button to save all changes.
5. Restart your server by clicking on “Restart” button in the “Console” tab.
Now your server should have PvE combat mode. If you want to set PvP again, just delete this line and restart your server.
