List of All Armor Trims in Minecraft
Below, you’ll find all 18 Armor Trims currently available in Minecraft.
Sentry Armor Trim
Sentry Armor Trim can only be found in chests at the top of Pillager Outposts. Each chest has a 25% chance of containing two copies of this template, meaning you’ll need to visit around four outposts on average before finding one. Fortunately, Pillager Outposts can generate in a wide variety of biomes, including different types of Plains, Taiga, Peaks, as well as Meadows and Cherry Groves, so finding one shouldn’t be too difficult.

If you want to duplicate this template, place it in a Crafting Table together with 7 Diamonds and 1 Cobblestone. This will create an additional copy while keeping the original template.

Vex Armor Trim
Vex Armor Trim can only be found in the Woodland Mansion, a structure that generates exclusively in the Dark Forest biome. Each mansion has a 50% chance of containing one copy of this template. Since Woodland Mansions are quite rare, your chances of finding one aren’t particularly high.

To duplicate this template, place it in a Crafting Table together with 7 Diamonds and 1 Cobblestone.

Wild Armor Trim
Wild Armor Trim can only be found in a chest inside a Jungle Pyramid, where it has a 33.3% chance of generating.

To duplicate this template, combine it with 7 Diamonds and 1 Mossy Cobblestone in a Crafting Table.

Coast Armor Trim
Coast Armor Trim can only be found in chests inside Shipwrecks. Each of the three chest types (Treasure Chest, Map Chest, and Supply Chest) has a 16.7% chance of containing two copies of this template. Shipwrecks generate quite frequently along coastlines and on the ocean floor, so it’s worth checking every one you come across while exploring.

To duplicate this template, combine it with 7 Diamonds and 1 Cobblestone in a Crafting Table.

Dune Armor Trim
Dune Armor Trim can only be found in Desert Pyramids, where there is a 14.3% chance of finding two copies of this template. Desert Pyramids generate exclusively in the Desert biome and are among the easiest structures to locate, making this template relatively easy to obtain.

To duplicate this template, combine it with 7 Diamonds and the structure’s local block, Sandstone in a Crafting Table.

Wayfinder Armor Trim
Wayfinder Armor Trim can only be found in Suspicious Gravel located in Trail Ruins, where it has an 8.3% chance of being uncovered using a Brush. Since Trail Ruins are partially buried underground, finding this template can be more difficult than obtaining most other Armor Trims.

Duplicating it requires 7 Diamonds and 1 Terracotta in a Crafting Table.

Raiser Armor Trim
Raiser Armor Trim can only be obtained from Suspicious Gravel found in Trail Ruins, where you have an 8.3% chance of uncovering it while using a Brush.

Duplicating it requires 7 Diamonds and 1 Terracotta in a Crafting Table.

Shaper Armor Trim
Shaper Armor Trim can only be uncovered by brushing Suspicious Gravel found in Trail Ruins. It has an 8.3% chance of appearing, making it one of the rarer templates hidden within this archaeological structure.

You’ll need 7 Diamonds and 1 Terracotta to duplicate it in a Crafting Table.

Host Armor Trim
Host Armor Trim can be uncovered by brushing Suspicious Gravel in Trail Ruins. It has an 8.3% chance of appearing, so you may need to search through multiple ruins before finding one.

The duplication recipe uses 7 Diamonds and 1 Terracotta.

Ward Armor Trim
Ward Armor Trim can only be found in chests inside Ancient Cities. Each chest has just a 5% chance of containing this template, making it one of the rarest Armor Trims in Minecraft. Exploring an Ancient City can be especially dangerous, as you may encounter the Warden, one of the strongest and most feared mobs in the game.

To make another copy, combine the template with 7 Diamonds and 1 Cobbled Deepslate in a Crafting Table.

Silence Armor Trim
Silence Armor Trim can only be found in chests inside Ancient Cities. With just a 1.2% chance of appearing, it is the rarest Armor Trim in Minecraft. Since Ancient Cities are already difficult to locate and are guarded by the Warden, obtaining this template can take a considerable amount of time and preparation.

Duplicating the Silence Armor Trim requires 7 Diamonds and 1 Cobbled Deepslate.

Tide Armor Trim
Tide Armor Trim can be obtained by defeating an Elder Guardian, which has a 20% chance of dropping this template. This chance is not affected by the Looting enchantment, so the only way to obtain more copies is by clearing additional Ocean Monuments, each of which always contains three Elder Guardians.

To duplicate the template, you’ll need 7 Diamonds and 1 Prismarine, a block found exclusively in Ocean Monuments.

Snout Armor Trim
Snout Armor Trim can only be found in the Nether, inside chests located in Bastion Remnants, where each of the four chest types has an 8.3% chance of containing one copy of this template. Bastion Remnants are among the most dangerous structures in the Nether, so you’ll have to face Piglins, Piglin Brutes, and other hostile mobs while exploring them.

To duplicate this template, you’ll need 1 Blackstone, one of the most common blocks found throughout Bastion Remnants, along with 7 Diamonds.

Rib Armor Trim
Rib Armor Trim can only be found in chests inside Nether Fortresses, where it has a 6.7% chance of generating. Although Nether Fortresses are relatively common in the Nether, exploring them can be challenging due to dangerous mobs such as Blazes, Wither Skeletons, and Ghasts.

To duplicate this template, you’ll need 7 Diamonds and 1 Netherrack, one of the most common blocks found throughout the Nether.

Eye Armor Trim
Eye Armor Trim can only be found in Strongholds. It has a 10% chance of generating in Altar Chests, while Library Chests always contain one copy of this template. Since every Stronghold contains at least one End Portal, you’ll eventually come across one while preparing to defeat the Ender Dragon.

To duplicate this template, combine it with 7 Diamonds and 1 End Stone in a Crafting Table. End Stone naturally generates across the main End island and is easy to obtain after entering the End dimension.

Spire Armor Trim
Spire Armor Trim can only be found in chests inside End Cities, where it has a 6.7% chance of generating. Since End Cities only appear on the outer End islands, you’ll first need to defeat the Ender Dragon and travel through an End Gateway before you can start searching for this template.

To duplicate this template, combine it with 7 Diamonds and 1 Purpur Block. Purpur Blocks can be crafted from Purpur, which is obtained by smelting Chorus Fruit found throughout End Cities.

Flow Armor Trim
Flow Armor Trim can only be obtained from an Ominous Vault found in Trial Chambers, where it has a 22.5% chance of appearing. Unlike most other Armor Trims, this one isn’t found in regular chests. To unlock an Ominous Vault, you’ll first need an Ominous Trial Key, which can be earned by completing Ominous Trials.

Duplicating this template requires 7 Diamonds and 1 Breeze Rod. Since Breeze Rods are dropped by the Breeze, you’ll need to defeat this mob in Trial Chambers before you can craft additional copies.

Bolt Armor Trim
Bolt Armor Trim can only be found in Vaults and Ominous Vaults inside Trial Chambers, where it has a 6.3% chance of generating. Since Vaults can only be opened with Trial Keys earned by completing Trial Spawners, obtaining this template may require clearing multiple Trial Chambers.

To duplicate this template, combine it with 7 Diamonds and either a Block of Copper or a Waxed Block of Copper in a Crafting Table.
