How to set up a world border on a Minecraft server

Header image

The Minecraft world border is a tool that allows precise control over the game area. It is particularly useful on servers because it helps reduce server load caused by excessive player expansion.

A server administrator can precisely define the maximum area players can move within by setting its central point and width. After configuring the basic settings, you can move on to more advanced options. It is possible to visually set warnings for approaching the border at a chosen number of blocks or seconds, as well as set the amount of damage players will receive upon crossing it.
