The latest Enshrouded update has introduced several changes, including a new way to manage passwords. Now, instead of the traditional method of setting a password in the server settings, this process has been moved to the User Groups section. From now on, each player group will have its own unique password. In this guide, we’ll explain how to set a password on your Enshrouded server using our intuitive control panel.
How to set password
1. Access server files and open enshrouded_server.json file.
2. Navigate “userGroups”, under which you will find a group named Default or several groups you created.
Each group has a “password” option where you can enter a password for individual players.
3. Once you have set passwords, click “SAVE CONTENT”.
4. Restart your server.
