The Forest is a popular survival game where you play as a survivor of a plane crash who awakens on a mysterious island full of bloodthirsty creatures. One of the tools that will help you survive is the developer console. Entering commands opens up entirely new possibilities for players, allowing you to change game conditions, summon items, teleport, and much more. To be able to enter commands on the server, you need to join as an administrator. In this guide, you will learn how to activate the developer console and how to use it.

How to enable developer console
1. Launch The Forest game.
2. Once you are in the main menu, go to “OPTIONS”.
3. Go to the “GAMEPLAY” tab.
4. In the “RULES” section you will find the “ALLOW CHEATS” setting. Change it to “ON”.
5. Return to the main menu. Here, enter the following command on the keyboard (it does not require opening the console):
developermodeon
You can now use the developer console.
How to use developer console

1. Join your The Forest server as an administrator.
